- (Or his wife.) CREA's ad for 2012 features a kindly couple who has bought and sold without the benefit of REALTOR®. The ad highlights, in a light-hearted and humourous way, the pitfalls of 'going it alone' when it comes to one of life's most important financial transactions -- buying or selling a home.

The ad seeks to inform our consumers of the type of counsel, expertise and know-how REALTORS® can provide in order to avoid a myriad of challenges and potential problems that can come when investing over $350,000 (average home price) on your own.
