developed that new platform and we will be launching it in 2012, however, on October 20, 2011 at the autumn Annual General Meeting we will have a one hour preview by Leslie Keller of Stratus. She will focus on the differences between what we now call Stratus and the New Stratus. Both will run concurrently for one year and then the New Stratus will become your only choice. Please remember that October 20 is a preview and not a launch.
The New Stratus will have a learning curve, as does all new technology, so the earlier we get ready for it the better. After launching, the Education Department will be moving ahead with information sessions and hands-on computer classes.
A few of the many new features are:
- the ability to use other Internet Browsers (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and other operating platforms such as Mac
- moving between the various search capabilities (Quick, Flex to Map search) without losing the criteria
- a running count to see how changing criteria will impact the search results on the fly
- drawing a shape on a map and saving multiple map searches
- browsing and selecting listings by looking at the photos alone
- saving an unlimited number of Favourite Listings and easily deleting them
- modifying search criteria while looking at the 1-line search results
- sharing saved searches within your Firm
- emailing a listing while viewing it
- converting listings or CMAs into PDF format
- easily seeing Recently Searched and Recently Viewed listings.
